How It Works — 3 Simple Steps

Getting the compensation you're owed has never been easier. We handle everything so you don't have to.

1️⃣

Submit Your Claim (2 Minutes)

Enter your flight details — airline, flight number, date, and what happened (cancellation, delay, missed connection, or denied boarding). We check your flight against airline and operational data and confirm your eligibility, usually within one business day.

2️⃣

We Handle Everything

Once we confirm eligibility, our legal experts take over. We compile evidence, contact the airline, negotiate on your behalf, and take legal action if the airline refuses to pay. You don't lift a finger.

3️⃣

You Get Paid

When we successfully secure your compensation, we transfer the money directly to your bank account. Our commission is deducted from the compensation — you never pay anything out of pocket.

What You Need to Get Started

  • Booking confirmation or e-ticket — proof of your reservation
  • Boarding pass (if available — not essential)
  • Flight details — airline, flight number, departure date
  • Brief description — what happened (delay, cancellation, etc.)

That's it. We handle all the complex paperwork, legal documentation, and airline communication.

Our Fee Structure

We operate on a no win, no fee basis. This means:

  • If we win your case: We deduct our commission from the compensation amount
  • If we don't win: You pay absolutely nothing — zero
  • No hidden fees, no admin charges, no credit card required

What Happens If the Airline Refuses?

Many airlines initially refuse compensation claims or simply ignore them. If that happens, we escalate your case through our legal network. We file legal proceedings in the appropriate jurisdiction — at no additional cost to you. FlyHelp has won more than 7,000 cases for passengers.

What Happens Behind the Scenes

"We handle everything" is a promise; here is what it consists of. When your details arrive, a case handler pulls the flight's operational record: scheduled and actual times, the aircraft's rotation that day, the reason code the airline filed with the airport, weather reports (METAR/TAF) for both airports, and Eurocontrol or CAA data on air-traffic restrictions. This tells us within a day whether the airline has a genuine extraordinary-circumstances defence or is likely to be bluffing. Roughly one in four submissions turns out not to qualify — a 2 h 40 min delay, a 15-day notice, a genuine storm — and we tell you so, free of charge.

Where Claims Are Filed

You can normally sue an airline in the country of departure, the country of arrival or the airline's home country. This choice matters: it decides the time limit (one to six years), the court fees, and how passenger-friendly the courts are. We pick the forum with the best combination for your case — Irish courts for Ryanair, English county courts for UK departures, German courts (with the söp arbitration route) for Lufthansa Group airlines, and so on. You never need to travel; proceedings are in writing and handled by local lawyers we instruct.

What "No Win, No Fee" Covers

  • All correspondence with the airline, regulators and ADR bodies.
  • Court fees and our lawyers' fees, advanced by us and recovered from the airline where the court awards costs.
  • Currency conversion and international transfer of your payout.

If the claim fails at any stage, you owe nothing and are not asked to reimburse costs. The only exception is if you settle directly with the airline behind our back after we have started work — then the fee is still due on the amount you received.

What We Ask of You

Three things: accurate information, a signature, and silence towards the airline — once we are instructed, please forward any airline contact to us rather than negotiating yourself, because a passenger accepting a €100 voucher can extinguish a €600 claim.

Frequently Asked Questions

Under EU Regulation 261/2004, you can receive €250 for flights up to 1,500 km, €400 for flights between 1,500-3,500 km, and €600 for flights over 3,500 km. Each passenger is entitled individually — a family of 4 could receive up to €2,400.

If we don't successfully secure your compensation, you owe us nothing. Zero hidden fees, no upfront costs, no credit card required. Our commission is only deducted from the compensation amount once the airline pays.

Most claims are resolved within 8-12 weeks. If the airline cooperates quickly, it can be faster. If legal action is required, it may take 3-6 months. You won't pay extra for court proceedings.

Yes! Depending on the country, you can claim for flights disrupted up to 3-6 years ago. UK/Ireland: 6 years. France/Spain: 5 years. Most EU countries: 3 years.

You'll need your booking confirmation or e-ticket, boarding pass (if available), and a brief description of what happened. We handle everything else from there.

Yes — email or WhatsApp your case handler at any time. We also notify you at every stage: airline reply, escalation, court filing and payment.

Forward the message to us and do not accept any offer. Airlines sometimes offer a low voucher directly to passengers to avoid paying the full amount through us.

No. Proceedings are written and handled by lawyers we instruct in the relevant country. In rare cases we may ask you to sign a written statement.
